With all that is written about dodgy on-line reviews (and working in the business you would be absolutely gobsmacked at some of the things that do go on) we believe that overall peer review media is a good thing. People will always get a feel about a place from the general tone of what’s been written and also from how the business responds to it’s reviews. So we were really chuffed to learn that we have just been announced as a Tripadvisor “Traveller’s Choice 2012 Winner”. Regular followers know that we are virtually paranoid about trying to do things better and whilst we do love receiving awards we are always trying to improve what we do and how we do it. Regular readers of the news-feed will remember me writing about “Larry the Lamb”, he of the bucket on the head fame, who lives in the fields either side of the drive up to the hotel. Well here are some pictures (in the Exterior section), minus the bucket of course (because showing that might infringe his aries rights).

It seems like we’ve just put the decorations away from last Christmas and already people want to see our 2012 menus so they can book, (well it’s a nice problem to have I guess!) So we’ve fed the Johns extra oxygen and here are the new menus. I hope that you all enjoy them.
